What is Skin Biorevitalisation Milan?
Skin biorevitalisation is an injectable treatment that delivers non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid, vitamins and amino acids directly into the dermis to restore deep skin hydration and stimulate the skin's natural production of collagen and elastin. The full course involves 2–3 sessions spaced 3–4 weeks apart, with results visible from the first session.
How the treatment works
- 1
Assessment of skin type and hydration level
Dr. Miegge assesses skin condition, degree of dehydration and loss of tone to select the most suitable product among free hyaluronic acid, Profhilo, Sunekos or personalised vitamin cocktails.
- 2
Cleansing and skin preparation
The area to be treated is carefully cleansed and, on request, a topical anaesthetic cream is applied 20–30 minutes before treatment.
- 3
Intradermal injections using nappage or microbolus technique
The product is injected superficially into the dermis using the nappage technique (multiple closely spaced injections) or microbolus, depending on the protocol. For Profhilo, 5 points per side are used according to the BAP (Bio Aesthetic Points) protocol.
- 4
Distribution massage
After the injections, a gentle massage is performed to help distribute the product evenly and reduce localised swelling at the injection points.
- 5
Assessment and course planning
The next session is scheduled 3–4 weeks later. A full biorevitalisation course usually involves 2–3 sessions, followed by a maintenance session every 4–6 months.

Frequently Asked Questions
Fillers contain cross-linked (thickened) hyaluronic acid and are used to restore volume and structure in specific areas. Biorevitalisation uses non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid or products like Profhilo, which spread through the dermis improving hydration, tone and elasticity overall without adding volume.
Profhilo is a product based on high-concentration hyaluronic acid (64 mg in 2 ml) which, thanks to its unique hybrid formulation, spreads through the tissue, stimulating the production of type I, III and IV collagen and elastin. It's injected at 5 points per side according to the BAP protocol, with a progressive biostimulating and firming effect over the following weeks.
A full course usually involves 2–3 sessions spaced 3–4 weeks apart. Results improve progressively over the course. For maintenance, a session every 4–6 months is recommended.
Yes. In younger patients (25–35 years) it's indicated as a preventive treatment to slow down signs of skin ageing. In more mature patients it's useful for restoring hydration, tone and radiance. The protocol is personalised based on age and skin condition.
Yes. Biorevitalisation is particularly effective for the neck, décolletage and hands — areas often neglected that show early signs of skin ageing. The treatment can be performed in combination with the face in the same session.
